ok

here is the dilema...

living in the North West of Engerland... i want to go to both the "gathering of the clans in Scotlandshire

and am deffo going to the "Wee-kend" darn sarf on me old 80g/s mono!

they are as far apart at either end of the country as is humanly possible,

but i live slap in the middle of the two events

trouble is its only 3 days ride max between the two (as slow as a slow thing)

i need to waste a good few days to get from "North" ta "Sooth"

without ending up at my house for a couple of days :nenau

done all that round the coast stuff 5 years ago......

i am all ears??

hm

You could get a boat from Wales into S. Ireland then ride up to the north of Ireland and get another boat from Larne to Troon. A bit different and expensive maybe :nenau

Geography is not my strong point :D

:aidan

I'd love to do both but I've been told in no uncertain terms I can't. :wife
So unless circumstances change in the interim, it's Wee-kend for me.

Had you thought about planning a route that is as much off road as possible? Then 3 days would probably not be enough!

I've been toying with trying a lejog style "as much off road trip" for charity.. it just time/work that always gets in the way!

:D J

I've got a barn needs the roof painting, it's on your way down to Devon.
:D

You'll be missed.

It's difficult to aim accurately at a target 680 miles away. :D :hide

Well if you want to check ferry prices use NuttTravel they are very competitive :thumb I thought you would think my idea was a bit loopy :D

blimey that bikes clean! I can see why you dont want to spend much time off road! :) Enjoy Ireland.. I've heard nothing but good things about riding over there.
