Dinatrol

Hello
I have coated several Jap tanks on the underside with Dinatrol heat proof wax ,
Does not melt once cured.

See now you're a proper GSer as you have the same bike 9 years later... If it was the LC forum you'd have been though several models already to keep up with the new colours and LCD screens...

Unless you bought it as a dustcover investment... Then obviously it hasn't caught fire as you never ride it...

Mine still hasn’t burnt yet either. The I waxoyled mine in 2004 when I got it. Last time I changed the fuel filter I cleaned it all off with white spirit and it came up like new. Then I covered it in dinitrol I had left over from treating the wife’s mx5. Hopefully that is doing as well as the waxoyl as the filter is due a change again soon.
