Stubby exhaust 1150GS - apologies in advance...

I've just fitted it, it misses the panniers and I have a piece of pipe to deflect it just incase

From a fuckin iphone....

My left pannier has some heat reflective padding on the underside but I've not noticed any excess heat from the exhaust. Seems to work fine.

Mine with pannier fitted. You've got to keep the exit well away from the pannier.

Please do you have a link for this stubby? thank you.

Remus used to do a nice exhaust tip for the GSXR that looked neat.

I did the same with a Remus Titanium Y-piece!

Made for lovely exhaust tips.

Unfortunately I've lost both of the bloody things! :(

More recently - I found a 2nd hand catalyser on ebay for about £20 (I got lucky) and did it again. :)
The diameter of the 'inlet' pipes are an exact match for the 'outlet' of the catalyser box.

If you fit the larger pannier, don't forget to fit 'blocks' on the pannier because the lower mount is in a different position on the full-size pannier.
(no photos, but will to get one next time I have the opportunity)

I made up a kit for when I fit a full size l/h pannier, that drops the Remus down below it. Link pipe and sliding bracket were both cheap as chips from eBay.

Anyone tried one of these Moto GP cans.? Any thoughts or opinions.?

I’ve had similar, but they’re not very nice.

I tried one when I went to the IOM and set off 3 car alarms as I rode past at 5am. The rest of the hotel passed comment when I got back for breakfast and I swapped back before I went out again… It’s buried in the garage somewhere, not seen for around 4-5yrs. For what they cost, it’s got to be good for a laugh though :thumb2
