Anyone after cush drive rubbers for an XChallenge or maybe Xcountry?

It looks like i have in my possession the only brand new set of cush drive rubbers now in existence for the XChallenge, after the original manufacturer went bust a few years back.

I've found a local rubber company that might make some up for me (a friend is desperate for some), and while i'm at it i thought i'd ask around see if there would be any other takers for a set?

Nathan

Hi Nathan,

We have the same cush drive rubber supply problems here in OZ.
I am interested in getting a set (price dependant of course). I have a couple of mates with Cross Challenges who may also be interested. I know one is getting a bit desperate.

Cheers

Yup, as per the other responses, I'd be in for a set or two dependent on the final price.

Cheers :thumb2

I've only just seen this thread. I'm in Australia & will take 3 sets. Any more news? availability? price? Are you willing to send to Australia?

No Problem!

Sorry about the lack of progress so far on this- i haven't had a chance to get along to the rubber specialist yet.

Apologies for not getting back to you all on this sooner. Had some rather serious issues at work to deal with, but if things go to plan i'll get along to the rubber specialist this week.

Progress....

I managed to get along to the rubber specialist this morning, and they don't seem to fazed by the task!

I should have prices for the end of this week.

Watch this space......

Guys,

Without digging to far into this, it looks like the new XChallenge cush drive rubbers are going to work out at £60 a set + postage. This is based on a minimum quantity of 30 sets. The original BMW list price for the cush drive rubbers was also in the same region (only they couldn't supply!).

The bulk of this is down to paying for the mould to be produced in the first place.

The above is at cost and i'm not making anything out of it. I've met some great people that have helped me out on this site, and this is something i can do to put a little bit back into UKGSer.

Please remember these are reverse engineered parts, so there may be slight differences in tolerance between them and the OEM new parts. That said they should still be superior to a knackered set!

I'm happy to ship overseas at cost.

Now who is still interested?

Nathan

2 sets for me please Nathan, let me know when you need paying:beerjug:

Pls put me down for a set. Thanks

Two for me please. If struggling to meet numbers let me know and I'll revise.
