THE PINK WAY ROUND
Where the Girls Take Theirs

This week sees the launch of a unique fundraiser for breast cancer
charities. Available for the first time at the BMF RALLY, an upmarket
and high quality calendar for 2006 will be for sale. However, this is not
just any calendar. Entitled "THE PINK WAY ROUND", it features 12
women who all share a passion for the GS range of BMW motorcycles, showing
off the bike's versatility - in a completely different way. The calendar
shows the girls in what might be regarded as very ordinary situations for
them, for example at the supermarket, in the swimming pool, at the
hairdressers or even camping out - however, what is unusual is that their
BMW GS is never far away!

All the pictures, taken free-of-charge by award winning photographer Lee
Warren, feature women with a passion for their GS. Many
of them have been touched by breast cancer affecting their family and
friends, and one of the women (September) in the calendar is a breast cancer
survivor herself.
BMW have given full approval to the project and each page of the
calendar has been sponsored by a BMW GS dealership or related supporter.
Great support was also given by the very diverse venues featured in the photographs –
it's not everyday that a motorcycle is seen in the gym, at the spa or enjoying a
romantic dinner for two - and the organisers are extremely grateful for
their help.

This project follows on from last year's event when a group of 4 women rode
their BMW GSs from John O'Groats to Lands End - in just 24 hours - to raise
money for breast cancer charities. In all, the group raised over £5,000,
but as you can see, the challenge has not stopped there.

The calendars will retail for £8.95 each and all funds raised, after paying
for the printing and production of the calendar, will go to breast cancer
charities. Apart from the launch at THE GS CLUB UK STAND on SATURDAY 21ST MAY,
at 10am at the BMF RALLY,
the calendar will be available from THE WEBSITE www.pinkwayround.co.uk
