Trials helmet

For trail riding I prefer to have a chin bar, for trials I wouldn't want
the added complexity and weight of the visor set up. But for someone doing a bit of both it may just be ideal? :nenau
Never actually seen one in the flesh.

I tried one on and found it uncomfortable.
I liked the idea of the drop down visor.

Have worn Airoh trials helmets for the last 6 years and found they have great build quality, ventilation and are light.

You don't get much for £40 buying helmets.

I appreciate that a £40 helmet won't be the worlds best. However I'm old enough to remember trials riders wearing flat caps.
I will explore Airoh helmets as recommended above.

Shouldn’t you start acting your age?

Or does that fall on (selectively) deaf ears? :)

Good luck with your new hobby.

Hi Ian,
Your post might be considered as age discrimination !
Start acting your age not your shoe size!
I hope your comment was in jest, but maybe not!
I will probably need all the luck I can get !
