KTM 525 "Touring"

Rocky's are box section with an added flat strip welded on as the box section doesn't seem to be available in the right size.

My 525 waiting to for attention to her rear

Quick coat of paint before fitting, it's off being powder coated now after it's recent trip.

Nice solution, I was considering cutting and welding some box section to size.

I posted, as I was after a 525, as I mentioned earlier in thread. Sorry to confuse ewe:p

Just taking the piss mate, 2022 may see a Husky 701 alongside the 530 so I get it.

Hi Tim - I’ve been looking at doing one of these myself. How does it compare with your 640?

Well you spend countless hours and money ending up with a smaller, lighter and more agile 640 which is useful for relatively brief times.
This one's good already when it's finished I'm hoping it's as good as can be.
640 is better for knocking some miles off.

I rode the two bikes back to back for two weeks each and they're both good.

Simple answer is the 525 is great fun to ride and brilliant when the going gets much more technical.

Of course I wouldn't put this much effort into a bike if I didn't really love it.
When it's finished I'll list all that's been done and I know both Mark Earthmover and Craig/Rocky have also put a huge amount of thought into theirs because they love them :)
