How to connect the TFT with Phone and SENA devices

I had this setup. Connected everything perfectly, 95% of the time. The weak point is BMW's TFT Bluetooth. If it doesn't connect, the solution was often to switch off the bike and restart it (after the Canbus has switched off).

I have tested this with my own Sena 10S and it works really well. The only issue I had was when I had my phone in my topbox connected to a power pack. For some reason it kept loosing connection. As soon as I put it back in my jacket pocket all the connectivity issues went away. Not sure what causes this issue.

The list of devices I have instructions for are as follows.
10Upad, 20S Evo, SRL, 10C Pro, 20S, 10S, 10C, 10U, 10R

The steps are as follows.

1. Clear all paring on your headset and make sure you have updated the firmware to the latest version.
2. Turn on your phone, headset and TFT
3. Pair your phone and TFT using the paring options in the TFT and your specific phone instructions.
4. Set your Sena to "Phone Pairing" and pair it to the TFT. (See below on how to prepare the Sena for "Phone Pairing")
5. Set Sena to "Second Phone Pairing" and pair it with the NAV VI (See below on how to prepare the Sena for "Phone Pairing")
6. Turn off ALL devices and TFT.
7. ALWAYS turn on phone BT and Sena before turning on TFT and NAV VI
8. Enjoy the Ride.
