How to connect the TFT with Phone and SENA devices

Okay for all of those who have a Sena Devices, I have the paring instructions to be able to connect both the TFT and Nav VI as I know a lot of you are asking.
I have tested this with my own Sena 10S and it works really well. The only issue I had was when I had my phone in my topbox connected to a power pack. For some reason it kept loosing connection. As soon as I put it back in my jacket pocket all the connectivity issues went away. Not sure what causes this issue.

The list of devices I have instructions for are as follows.
10Upad, 20S Evo, SRL, 10C Pro, 20S, 10S, 10C, 10U, 10R

The steps are as follows.

Clear all paring on your headset and make sure you have updated the firmware to the latest version.
Turn on your phone, headset and TFT
Pair your phone and TFT using the paring options in the TFT and your specific phone instructions.
Set your Sena to "Phone Pairing" and pair it to the TFT. (See below on how to prepare the Sena for "Phone Pairing")
Set Sena to "Second Phone Pairing" and pair it with the NAV VI (See below on how to prepare the Sena for "Phone Pairing")
Turn off ALL devices and TFT.
ALWAYS turn on phone BT and Sena before turning on TFT and NAV VI
Enjoy the Ride.

Mhhhh, all the links you posted are broken. I guess it's the "/.../" part in the middle that is causing the issue...

Nope just spent a lot of time doing the research and testing my own Sena 10s with the device.

After messing about for an eternity I followed these simple instructions and hey presto everything works a treat. Everything takes a while to get recognised when you first fire up but once it does everything works as it should. So a BIG thank you. from me: :beerjug:

This way I frequently have issues with the smartphone Connected app connecting to the TFT (Android phone even worse than iOS). The way it works for me 99.9% of the time:

turn off the BT of the phone
turn on the bike / TFT and have the unit search for its 30 seconds until the BT sign disappears from the display
turn on the BT of the phone
in the TFT display go to Settings > Connections > phone > {smartphone name} and confirm (OK)

Connection will be established, max speed sign appears in the display / Connected app says it's connected

Turn on helmet headset.

I have already raised the connection issue of the app with the TFT at my dealer.

I’ve found that for me it’s best to switch the Connected App and headset on before switching the bike on. Also, and it took me ages to work out, if you are using an Apple Watch or similar turn it to Airplane mode as it seems to screw everything up.
Oh and if you have the bike software upgraded you’ll need to start from scratch again.

Senna r10

Hi

I have senna r10 headset. When I turn it on it connects to iPhone but not to tft on my 2022 xr1000. I don’t have satnav though. The display says either the helmet is connected to tft or sometimes the phone is connected to tft. The problem is they don’t all connect together. Is there a sequence for turning everything on, ie phone first, then helmet on then bike on.
Or is it bike on first, then helmet then phone? It’s driving me crazy!

Help would be appreciated. Cheers

Press menu button use wheel to go to page 2 menu button down will give you the option to re set all or individual items.

You need to start again.

Pair the Phone to the TFT then pair the headset to TFT. then the connection is through the TFT, You don't need to connect the phone to the headset. That's how it works with GS anyway, cant see it being different.
