Cant navigate Nippy Normans so won't waste my time there.

Did I miss anyone? Useful list to take you to most manufacturers, you may need to specify your make and model of bike to get the latest list. Let me know if links don't work.

New guy here (and new F750GS owner). Just wanted to say thanks for this post. It will be very useful for when I (inevitably) get around to swapping the windscreen on my bike.

Hi Richard you are welcome and I'm new here too. New bike arrived yesterday and forced to do the research as the screen is truly terrible. I come to BMW from a naked bike background so that's a pretty big fail. I'll need to find a decent stretch of road to work out why its so bad, but I'm surprised that this is the default offering on what is a well specified bike. I appreciate that this sets riders up for the aftermarket options but why would BMW care? Tempted to take the screen off to see if its better without!

As I am a new rider (40 years since I last had a bike!), I don't have anything to compare it to - other than the F700GS I used for my DAS.

I also collected my bike yesterday, so I've only done 50 or so miles so far, and no high speed stuff. So far, I'd say it's no worse than the F700, but I can see it is definitely a weakness. The good news is that it is a very easy fix, I guess.

Givi airflow AF5127 for me just waiting for it to be made. I have the 750 but have ordered the 850 mount.

Do you have the 750 or 850? The 750 screen although tiny at least offers a clean air flow. Your chest and shoulders are well protected by the front end but your head gets the full blast. It is noisy but not turbulent. It actually will be a blessing in the summer on very hot days and one of the reasons for my buying the 750 after having many years on RT's and GSA's.

Madstad are also working on a screen and fully adjustable support bracket.

I’ll be interested to hear your feedback when you get the screen. Did you order the 850 mount to give the screen extra support/rigidity?

Yes. Exactly for that reason. The AF will be a very large screen and I want as much support as possible. 850 mount isn't expensive at under £30.

I just got the 750 on Friday and only got 15 miles in on the way home. Too much to do at the moment. You may be right about the airflow no being turbulent but its noisier than the Ducati monster and a big shock considering the intended bike use. It's probably not fair to pass comment until I get some miles done.

FYI bike arrived on Anakee 3's so I'll have to see how they work out, seen some interesting views on those in this forum and would really like to move to the Michelin Road 5 next change. Stereo Matt Metallic...apparently the fastest colour ;)

As Richard said, love to hear your review (and picture) of the new screen, its a big change to what's fitted as standard so should make a sizeable difference.

I'm delighted as it does everything I want and more and personally I think it looks great...now if only I could work out how to post a pic!

Yep, Stereo for me also. Don't believe all the rubbish spouted about Anakee3 tyres, they are fine and I had one of my best rides ever in the wet on a R1100GS with them on. When they were released they were tested as the best bike tyre yet made. That was a few years ago. My advice is not to fixate on the tyres but just to enjoy the bike. :rob

I have now fitted the excellent Givi Airflow Screen; not get available from UK dealers but obtained direct from Italy (via Ebay). It is excellent, great quality and better fitting than my last Airflow on a 2012 R1200GS. If you have a 750, you will need a 850 mounting bracket (I woundn't put a large screen on the tiny 750 bracket anyway). Price of bracket is <£30.

Thank you Stonehenge, are you able to add a picture would be great to see the look of the aftermarket changes. I'm sorry i couldn't follow the instruction on how to do this!

I would also appreciate a picture if you can.

Having done about 300 miles now on my 750, I’m sure I will upgrade the screen at some stage, as the standard one offers zero wind protection once dual-carriageway speeds are reached.

Looks really good, so do the additional lights. By the way its parked i'm assuming there are others in the man shed too!

A couple of questions, the screen is adjustable from 47-59cms. 47 is about the same as most standard screens, 59 a fair bit taller than most. So are you adjusting it to suit your height and hows that working out?

Is this the right link? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FAIRING-...h=item3fb153c984:g:xoAAAOSwm1db5paN:rk:2:pf:0

and where's the 850 bracket from, is it Motorrad original or aftermarket? many thanks and nice work!

Thanks for the pictures. I think I am currently favouring the Wunderlich option, which is a bit of a smaller screen.

BMW 850 mount which is surprisingly well priced. The real benefit of Airflow is the adjustability and that you can remove the top half completely.

I decided to go for the Wunderlich Marathon screen (https://www.wunderlich.de/shop/en/wunderlich-windshield-marathon-m20230-104-1.html).

The screen was delivered with the mirror extenders (https://www.wunderlich.de/shop/en/wunderlich-mirror-extension-26100-002-1.html), which are necessary to avoid the mirrors hitting the screen at full lock.

Being a wide load, the mirror extenders are great (even if they don't look particularly attractive) and the screen has improved the weather protection. Overall, pretty pleased with it.

Looks great Richard. I'm curious where is the top of the screen when you are sat on her and how tall are you? Being a short ass I wondered if a dark screen would block my vision or are you looking way over the top?
