SO SHOKS ARE 10 YEARS OLD AND DONE 70K MILES
LOST ALL THE DUMPING PROPERTIES
Rear shock lost half of the oil and the front one lost the pressure
Braided line was upgraded to the Hel stainless steel
Spherical bearings needed to be replaced as well
Some pictures from the rebuild

How, did you repressurise the gas in the shock ?

It's the only thing that's stopped me having a go rebuilding mine

I just bought all the stuff needed for the job
But is not very economic if you just planning to do one shock let me know if you need the nitrogen charge .
One time I've ask for the price of rebuild and they knock my socks off ... luckily I was wearing two pairs!!!
Since then I rebuild them my self and this is my hobby now

Where did you get the wilbers parts for the rebuild? Im struggling to find a vendor here in the states. Also how did you remove the spherical bearings? It seems like the aluminum bushings are 2 piece and pressed together but I dont want to damage them trying to get them out. Thanks!
