Some of the best places:-

Adenauer Forst
Leave the main car park and turn right at the roundabout. At the tee junction turn left, going downhill towards Adenau. 5KMs Tee junction turn right into Adenau. go under track bridge and continue into Adenau. 1.5KM turn left opposite the VW garage. Follow road to the end 400 yards. Park car in car park by school. Walk up track to the right of the school and follow path for 800 yards uphill.
WARNING this walk is not for the faint hearted, take a drink. If the gate to the track beside the school is open you are lucky and can drive up the hill.
There is a Gate at the bottom of the uphill single track road which is closed nearly every weekend, but seems to be open for Monday afternoons and evening sessions. When it is open you can drive up and park 50m from the corner.

Bergwerk
This viewing point is very easy to find and close to the track, however as it is under trees, it is usually darker than most other viewing points on the ring. If the weather is not bright and sunny, you will probably not be able to get shots that are focussed or light enough
Head towards Adenau from the ring, just after the Arai garage turn right (opposite supermarket) continue on this road for approx 1/2 mile, turn right down small track.
After only a few 100 yards, park
The track is about 20 feet through these trees and up a small slope.
There is a viewing platform to stand on and when there you see the track.

Breidscheid Bridge over the road at Adenau.
Leave the main car park and turn right at the roundabout. At the tee junction turn left, going downhill towards Adenau. 5KMs Tee junction turn right into Adenau. 1KM car park on the right by the bridge, if no spaces, I park in Lidl.

Pass Pflanzgarten and continue for 400 yards. Brünnchen is on your left with a large car park. There is an overflow carpark on the right.

Hatzenbach
Leave main car park and turn left at the roundabout. Follow road for 1KM into Nurburg. Turn third right just before the BMW garage. Follow road to the end and turn right. 200 yards turn right down slip road towards Adenau. Follow road for 500 yards, go under track and stop immediately in layby on right.

You now have 2 choices, you can either follow the track in the opposite direction to the traffic and you will walk down the hill for 10 minutes or so. Brünchen is a good viewpoint, easily accessible from the B412

Turn on to the 412 from the 258 and it's on your left, half a mile or so, you can't miss it :thumb

Easy parking. The track comes down towards you from a left hander, into a right and then another right hander before they go out of sight. Can get very interesting

Best way to get a good view is to get a ticket and do a lap or two.
