Swiss Army Museum in Full-Reuenthal. It just across the Rhine from the southern Black Forest next to a power station with large cooling tower.

A good collection of military items over two buildings - Building 1 has about five / six floors - basement Mowag vehicles, lots of Swiss Oerlikon guns, partly assembled King Tiger, artillery, etc. Building 2 - largely tanks including some Swiss manufacture and three versions of Centurions. There was some stuff here I had not seen before and they also had an American APC that you could climb around inside. A pleasant way to spend 1/2 day on what was a wet Sunday.

Best to check the opening times as it seem to be only open Fri to Sun and only for the period April to Oct

They have another adjacent site - Fortress Museum Reuenthal however this just opens on Saturdays.

I was told that there is another military museum at Thun - examples of all tanks used by the Swiss Army and associated weapons. I'll save this one for another time when I am next in Switzerland
