Had a positive interaction with Garmin customer service today..
I noticed when i came back from collecting the new steed, i wasnt getting any alerts for speed camera's
I plugged it into garmin express, and sure enough no updates for speed camera's was indicated , but i could buy a new 12 month sub, or a free 30 day trial.
I'm pretty sure when i went to Tufty's soiree back in October last year all was functioning correctly (nav Vi was brand new about a week prior)
My old Nav iV was also highlighted in Garmin express, along with the latest updates for maps & speedcams .. that was good, but i sold that last year lol
I mentioned to Garmin that i had deregistered the old Nav iV, so i was surprised that it was still showing as linked to my email address
Got a mail back this morning, applogising that the New Nav VI didnt come with speed cams enaabled, but they had tranferred my remaining subscription from the nav iV
to my Nav Vi
that was an unexpected result
shame i cant go out on it thoug lol
