Not a bad little publication for people looking for some ideas for days out:

Add it to this book, which (as the title suggests) has ideas on longer tours

The RiDE magazine’s website has others and more.

For other perhaps less formulaic ideas, have a look at several of the bicycle (on road) guide books and websites and even some of the car guides, too. Quite often bicyclists and even some car drivers do like exactly the same ‘twisty’ roads as motorcyclists. If nothing else, it’s a safe bet that not many bicyclists will be taking a motorway. Here’s an example of what I mean:

If you're recommending then as the renowned travel route expert then it must be good. Thanks. As have now pushed our Black Forrest trip to June 2021 this may provide some ideas for a September long weekend in the UK assuming we could find an Airbnb

Great book! I’ve had it purchased a couple of years ago, and used it on a few occasions. Great easy route finding if one can’t be bothered with base camp/google.
