GSA to K16 or not...?

Like any bike, it is easy if you do not fight it. I watch bods struggling with 1200 GS's and 1600's, simply as they are trying to 'pull' the thing onto its stand, when simply pressing down with a foot onto the stand and letting the bike lever itself up, will work every time.

I have been doing it just of late in deck shoes. It hurts the bottom of my foot but hey, I can't be arsed to put a boot on.

I prefer crocs tbh.

Just to update the thread, the K16 was great but after 15 months I had to go back to a GSA. The K16 had bags of power but it just didn’t make me grin when riding it. As always, excellent service from Bahnstormer means I now have a 700 mile 2021 R1250 GSA Triple Black instead. More comfy for myself and the pillion, far more nimble, and massively more fun on A and B roads. It was an itch that had to be scratched but I’ll be sticking with a GSA now…lesson learned!
