MyRoute App/Google

Not sure it makes any difference to the way I use MRA. I only use HERE maps and you can still export in different formats.
 
I've had several mails through for the various map apps ive signed up to at various times

Most are saying the same,


Google is now putting restrictions or pricing constraints on what data they use, so updates or features are being cut
 
This is a sort of repeat of the MotoGoLoco problem from a couple of years ago? They too based their operating model on Google maps, then fell by the wayside. I guess that Kurviger and Scenic will be untouched, as they use Open Street Map, all be it their apps work differently to MyRoute’s anyway.

The good news is that Garmin’s mapping is not Google based and will continue to function excellently well.
