Thank you sir I defer and burn my Chemical Engineering qualification. The kits you can buy to ” wash” Petrol really illustrate how hygroscopic Ethanol is. At the end of the washing you can see the Ethanol in the vessel.

Seem to think it adsorption when it becomes part of the whole. As opposed to absorbtion were it can be separated out easily.
