Just finished painting my tank, did a 2 pack clear coat, came up a treat. Hardened off nicely. I had to tip the tank forward 2 weeks later to replace some hose and some petrol leaked out of the filler cap and down the front of the tank stripping the paint off. 
It's only a small area that I can patch in but I don't want it happening again so I wonder what everyone else uses.
