Finally had this fitted today along with the up map that goes with it

The mid range grunt is very noticeably improved, top gear roll on etc and in the short time i have ridden it since fitting the overall performance is better ( not that it really needed it.

The sound is just lovely, bordering on a bit loud but with the baffle in it is ok, a deeper fruitier tone and under hard acceleration it really does scream and oh the noise on the over run is delightful

Quite amazing the difference losing all the catalytic crap and letting the bike breathe properly

Any way i am very pleased particularly as Ducati picked up most of the cost

Mine will be fitted in a couple of weeks. Can't wait. :JB

Went to Austria on mine last year , took the baffle out halfway through the trip , it’s better in every way .
You will scorch your number plate without a tail tidy
Well worth fitting though

I’m done with de cat headers and won’t be adding them to this Duke, they are just too shouty and make it obvious to any plod watching/listening at typical biker roads  to identify those giving it the beans, that and the prospect of not being allowed to ride certain places in Europe due to noise regs (should we ever be allowed to do such a thing again) are enough to make think they are not worth the hassle.

Got to ask , does this affect your insurance as its a race ( closed circuit) system , so its technically not road legal ,asking as pricing the cost of insurance of the V4 and mentioned the full system and they just said is it road legal , i just said its a Ducati accessory , but its not road legal.

Told the insurance that it was fitted and they didnt ask any more as it gives less than 5% power increase

Had one one on the Hypermotard as well and that was the same
