Not on everyone’s bucket list of places to see and do, perhaps?

This simple idea from Tourenfahrer magagazine 12 / 20 might be of some interest, not least as it would be a doddle to do from Calais.

It might also serve to answer the question: What can I do for an easy weekend / three days, without straining myself too badly.

Download the routes or create them yourself from the maps. Dead easy. Job done.

PS I have taken bods on Wapping’s Wanders along routes not vastly dissimilar to the cyan and red routes shown. I’ve also taken folk on roads that overlap with the darker blue route. They have gone OK.

I have often run in a new bike over a weekend, using this part of France, too.
