Lifted from Alpentourer magazine’s GPS Tourenatlas 2018, some quite nice routes, all downloadable for free from here:

Be aware that Wappings first link downloads the route, as it should and doesnt open a web page for you to view it. just in case you thought the link didnt work, look in your download folders.

A great region for a ride about, when I went I wondered where all the people were. Vianden is a lovely spot.

It's a great region and I was supposed to be going there but they went into lockdown. I've stayed in Remich and Clervaux in the past. This time it was going to be Wiltz in the north, in a hotel next to the castle. The castle has a museum of beer and of course has a brewery.

You really cannot go far wrong on any of the roads, right up through Luxembourg, into Belgium, across into Germany or France. The ADAC map (see separate threads) give some pretty good ideas, when it comes to DIY.

Great area, for me it is a good choice for a long weekend, easy to get to in a few hours from Calais and lots of great roads packed close together, very little traffic - just watch out as they have a few speed cameras, heading east on the nice twisty road towards Vianden must make them a tidy profit!

hotel in Esch-sur-Sere, it top notch, they will make up a lunch for you to take with you, have details of a whole bunch of routes in the area, there is a locked motorcycle garage with workbench tools and tyre changing equipment, bloody brilliant people

Which hotel in Esch-sur-Sure? This one? https://www.hotel-de-la-sure.lu/

sorry for the late reply yes thats the one, it was recommended on a Germany mottorad touring site, If you look on the Services+ page there are some photos and you can see the banner indicating the motorcycle touring route.
I have lost the link but there were a whole bunch of hotels in the area all recommended for motorcycle touring. the actual hotel reception was Logis Hotel Gourmet & Relax de la Sure Rest. Comte Godefroy on the top of the hill in the bend in the river, we booked in and had an appartment in one of the houses on the road up to the hotel, most of the houses around it are in fact the rooms for the hotel, just around the corner was the underground bike parking area with tools and stuff in, you had a key card to let you in and lock up the bike, all in all a very good hotel, restaurant was excellent as well

Lovely routes over there. We stayed here last year and very nice it was too.

Hotel Heintz (3*) 55 Grand-Rue L-9410 Vianden. super little hotel, very pretty and only a short walk down to the river and bars.

Good level parking at the rear with a garage too .. but really no need. Recommend it.:)

Thank you. I guessed it was that one. I rode past it before lockdown and made a note at the time.

This was maybe the website listing you meant, perhaps?
