And it’s definitely cheap motoring.
I filled up this morning as fuel was down to 1 bar and I wasn’t sure what the gauge was like. Not sure it was totally full when I picked it up.
Anyway, I’d done 105 miles and put in 4.1 litres.
That works out at 114 mpg.
Tank is 7.2 litres so 184 to empty, which is pretty bloody good.
Should easily be able to do 150 miles each time and have 30 miles in reserve.

Removing the air box snorkel certainly seems to give it more pep, plus a tad more noise without being too loud.

I love the idea of doing a bit of a trip on an 'inappropriate' bike. Far more fun, far more original. I think you'd grin from start to finish. Have a blast!

And yes, +1 for the standard exhaust, it looks great.

It’s a funny old world
When we were youngsters we couldn’t wait to get on a litre plus bikes
Now we’re in our 50’s and 60’s we’re trying to downsize to sub 500cc bikes

I saw the green & thought 'Wow, that's lovely'. Then I saw the red & thought 'That's nicer than the green'. Then I saw the white & though 'That's the on I'd have'. But the green is lovely.

I'd have thought cordials would have been good in water.
