Mike, Tetley, do you build up the engines once they’re in the frame, or do them separately and fit after?

Mike builds all of my engines, so they go in complete. My wife is a great no two when it comes to lifting them in.

I’m surprised the SWT kit didn’t include a reinforced top shock mount which they seem keen on on Advrider. Not to worry though as mine is not strengthened (although I did think about it) and the arm is longer, I think, than yours - no problems so far.

I’m back to waiting for others now, the frame is back with the welder for final adjustment, then it’ll go to Daventry to be shot peened, then powder coated, before I start building in earnest.

Well a bit of a break through on the front wheel front so to speak.
If I double up the wheel bearings and use 690 spacers it lines up a treat. Very pleased with that.

Sorting out the new high capacity alternator. A bit of cleaning
Fit the new stator and brushes, bit of soldering then we’re ready to fit this.
