Airhead 80-100 G/S Adventure Build

A few more steps this morning. First to torque up the swing arm pivots.

Tighten up, Meausre and adjust gap, loosen up, measure & adjust gap, tighten up a bit less, measure gap, nip up the lock nuts, measure gap, caps on.

Now then - this high capacity diode board - do I mount it on rubber, metal stand off, or just bolt it directly in place (there’s space)?

Spindle isn’t quite right but will do for now, I’m having some spacers turned up for the caliper mount so that’ll have to wait.

Looking good ,the hardware's coming along nicely. I think the comfort seat need a bit more work though.:D

Few more steps tonight.

Switch gear and grips. Not poncy heated grips for this one…

Not massively impressed with the hose run, but it’ll do for now.

I would be a good idea to protect the frame where you oil pipes contact it the braided hoses work better than a file.

Good shout Barney.

If you look closely, you’ll see a couple of layers of 3M tape. That’s just for now, I’ll make a proper stand-off bracket once everything is in place.

A few more steps …

Fairing bracket goes on - so I can get the bar and mudguard clearances right.

I’ll play with that at the weekend
