S10 Fuel Level Resistor Board

Hi,

A friend of mine has a broken resistor board on his 2012 S10 - I think he broke it while taking pump out of tank to clean filter....
We are looking for a good used spare, preferably component itself but whole assembly if nowt else available....

Would appreciate any clues on a good or likely source?

Have you posted on www.yamahasupertenere.com? The size or the board would mean cheap postage if he can get one from the states.

At £640 a throw........ouch Yamaha only sell these as a complete assembly, which means breakers will still charge plenty.

Has he dropped the board out to check the manufacturer see if it is any way to identify the part?

There may be some commonality across other makes, or individual availability, that may help to ease the pain, if it comes from one of the jap electronic giants.

Plannning to look for Fazer / FJR / R6 etc, tank units at breakers o see if compatible....
