Those of a sensitive nature, look away now.

Ouch that's got to hurt. My HP2 just lost a drive shaft which banged up the swing arm pretty bad but didn't break through. Very lucky because there are no swing arms to be had from BMW anywhere. I read that one person waited a year for one. I have a request with the factory for one. It's bad when the HP2 is down. Make sure you change your drive shaft out before it goes. My bike is at 75,000 miles.

This bike is for sale ,
As is.
Anyone fancy a bit of a project:D
Pm if interested
It’s got some very good mods,
Those in the know will recognise it.

One careful owner, never raced or rallied, full service history :blagblah :blagblah :blagblah

That must have been rattling for some time to cause that amount of carnage to the piston?

Don’t think you’d get much warning TBH,
At 6000 rpm the piston is going up and down 100 times a second.

Not if like mine it stopped abruptly at rev limiter when it let go

Still very nasty and as usual the right side !! :(

Good Project for someone Any idea of Price Mike? :green gri

It’s got WP forks, massive billet yokes
Wilburs shock.
No doubt the suspension has been set up to a high standard.
The front wheel iirc is talon.
Not sure on the rear , but the spokes look more akin to stuff seen in bridge building than a motorcycle.
Fitted with what looks like a Renazo Seat.
Billet levers
Led headlamp conversation,
Might have led spots as well,,unless I’ve dreamt that.
:D
