Breakfast meet 23rd January

Told my lad that waffles are a lazy Yankie junk fast food type rekkie, nothing like the effort involved with a quality fry up, but as in life the more effort the greater the appreciation,.... err, usually. I won't be part taking in that kind of laziness, hum.
Probably will have a semi, I meant small fry up just for me.

Likewise still sourcing V85 bits, got the Caponord Rally mud guard and a carbon fibre fender extender from fleaabay which offers significantly more extension than the pyramid one and goes well with the hatched effect on the mud guard. Still sussing out centre stand options.

Those H&B engine bars arrived the other day and I've bought a suitable tankbag for it off here (Wolfman).
Arse now out of bed, range fired up, off to do some cooking. Back in a bit...

Birdfeeder

The birds will have to wait...

Will there be much left over for the birds, I suspect not ?
The birds in my garden will eat almost anything, including eachother so dare not venture outside to the feeder with anything resembling food.

Just fed the birds in the garden a slap up breakfast...does that count ? :)

Poor birides...
There's a very empty birdfeeder in that pic somewhere

Oh what a civilised little fox, did it also have the trimmings ? Think he will spread the word to his fellow chicken killers that you're a soft touch cooking the chicken for them.

Mrs GSite wants to do some exercise, Ooo Err Mrs, proboably just a walk along the canal and woodland nearby in the sunshine, glorious weather at the moment. Signing off now, good to catch up Rob and Bryn, can't wait for the Cafe meets to restart after lockdown.

Hope the wildlife survives their belly busting cooked breakfasts.

Brekkie....

... and lunch too I reckon.

That big bird feeder is for the local condors - they just swoop down and haul it away. Have to be a bit careful when putting out a new one

Stuffed now, need to go and lie down
Cheers all - hope to see you for real sometime soon(ish)

Wow that looks fantastic, I will go and cry into my muesli.
Roll on the day when we get back to the breakfast meets.

Sorry I missed this one.

I was on an early start trip to Newcastle so only had some toast!

Daughter staying with me (bubble) through lockdown but needed teaching materials for the new Uni semester.

No snow in Nottingham when I set off. Arrived back today before this afternoon’s heavy snow.

Hoping most of the small cafe traders can survive this extended lockdown.

Breakfast meets at a McDonalds would be a travesty!
