Hi guys,

Happy New Year to everyone, hope will be better than 2020!

I need your advise or thoughts what do you think about White Dalton.
In May last year I had an accident with the garbage truck (LOL). Fortunately nothing serious but bike suffered a lot. I was in the middle of overtaking manoeuvre of the truck when the truck driver suddenly decided to overtake the tractor in front of him. I was pushed of the road and ended up in the ditch. Because I didn't have a registration number of the garbage truck my insurance wasn't interested to do anything more than register the claim. They informed me to claim from my own policy. I disagreed with them so called White Dalton. Long story short I managed to find the waste company and their truck, I have witness statements from two people, footage from the garbage truck and the police report. It is January 2021 now and nothing has happened. White Dalton people pissed me off me so much with questioning that I had used the indicator or not. From November last year I have not heard anything back from them. What do you think I should do now? Any thoughts, experiences?
Thanks in advance

Best Regards

How about contacting White or Dalton personally?

They advertise as specialist motorcycle solicitors hence why you contacted them.

I'd be saying that I want to see some action in getting the matter resolved in your favour or to be advised of the reason why this cannot happen.

Sorry that you received rubbish service after binning your bike.

Why not just call the person who is handling your call? They have been handling a case for me from an off I had on diesel last year and i have found them to be very good. As for asking questions, as your advocates it is their duty and responsibility to ascertain all the facts as part of their due diligence. If the case goes to court the last thing they need is for any nasty surprises arising from non-disclosure of facts as that could lose you your case.

Can you explain a bit better. Is White Dalton your insurance company? JJH

Used WD a few years back and they were superb in their legal advice and setting the amount of compensation to pursue and completing the case pretty swiftly. Consequently, I always recommend them.

You're probably feeling down in the dumps by now.

Are WD not cleaning up your mess?

The thing about WD is that all the legal staff have to have a motorcycle licence in order to keep their jobs.

If would ring either the guy handling your case or the PA to Andrew Dalton to ask for a progress report on your case. It does sound as if the case is not cut-and-dried for it to drag on so long. it may rest on the proportion of negligence attributable to your good self, whether that is 0% or otherwise.

Hope this helps....

I have had excellent experience of WD in the last 12 months and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.
