So in Dubai at the moment for work and had a few days to kill so decided to hire a Harley for a few days. It is the first time I have ever ridden one or indeed anything apart from a GS and Fazer. Impressions of the bike was it was heavy, could not corner, no brakes and noisy. But I absolutely loved it and enjoyed every single mile.

Weather perfect in UAE at the moment for a bike and once out of Dubai the roads are excellent.

Good for you, it is a fine place for a spin!! Mussandam Peninsula Corniche Road is worth doing, but it looks like you found a good ride anyhow!

Had a good run, Jebel Jais mountain road the highlight. Three lanes of tarmac for no other reason but to get to the top all well presented. Would have ridden it again if I had enough fuel.

The Hajar mountains are stunning and in typical Dubai style they built a road to get to the restaurant at the top.

You can just see the road in the background.

Yep, thats the road. Amazing how good it was considering it only serves the restaurant at the top.

HD's have their own "performance envelope " stay inside that, and they are great , go outside of it .... and it all gets a bit wobbly and scary .

I found having no screen did that. I really enjoyed the whole trip and the HD impressed me on the raw riding experience. Been cosseted by the GS too long.

I have driven that in car and yes its a great road. Abu Dhabi is still under Covid restrictions so the Jebel Hafeet is off limits from Dubai at the moment.
