Tool kit....

Yep , Kriega tool roll and assemble a kit your self , that’s what I’ve done. Euro 300 is mucho dinero for me , I’m sure some on here would find that a useful kit though :thumb

I use the Enduristan tool thing a la Lyndon Poskit

I just went around the bike looking at what was needed and sourced it

It wasnt cheap but then it wasnt as much as that ready assembled affair

Funnily enough I'm just sorting through my on-bike tool kit and saw this thread.

The below is what I carry on the Husky together with some tape and cable ties (and some nitrile gloves which are essential if you don't want grease inside your bike gloves). If I'm on a bike not running tubes I have a 'Stop & Go' as opposed to the tyre levers/patches etc shown here.

It all fills a US10 by approx 1/3 leaving lots of room, if needed, for other shit and sits on the rear rack.

All the tools here cover jobs I can tackle on the road/trail, no point carrying stuff you can't use, that's where 'recovery' comes in............

PS The virgin is optional but a little Hail Mary before setting off doesn't do any harm :angel

The trail tool is a great bit of kit, well thought out. What is the tyre lever spanner set? Looks interesting

It's an 'Eastbound' kit. The little curved block is a bead breaker and the levers also double as wheel nut spanners with the optional spanner heads. All of it is exceptionally well made and robust/light (CNC machined billet aluminium). It's not cheap though...........

Get one of the rather lovely Facom Nano 1/4" mini ratchet/driver sets with all the drivers/torx/hex and sockets that you might need (and all in a very small case), plus a set of Wera Joker spanners and you are 90% of the way there.

Not cheap, but brilliant.

Add a plug kit and a motopressor and you are 95% and still about the size of a house brick. The rest is up to you.

This single post has caused me no end of grief………looking through FACOM website and then looking for best prices and YouTube reviews. Lovely stuff.

Kriega do a really good quality tool roll.
As I have two liquid cooled GS’s I carry a really good set of torx keys as they fit nearly everything. Also a screwdriver handle with a variety of bits and a ratchet spanner which also fits said bits.
I also have lock wire and stainless steel cable ties in case I have to re attach anything where heat is involved.

I know. I vaccillated for a while. Then drank a bottle of wine and just bought the stuff. Internet shopping is much easier slightly pissed, and I do like quality tools.

If I may inflame the situation even more, a 6" Knipex "Pliers/Wrench" is a worthy addition - and may even eliminate the need for the Wera spanners:
