Hi. I am looking at a beeline for use mainly on my bicycle, but also sometimes on one of my motorbikes.

I am happy with the level of functionality that these offer.

My question is how secure the cycle mount system is (it is different from the Moto version). It looks neat, but I am not sure how well it would handle vibration.

Pls does anyone have first hand experience of the cycle version?

Cheers,

That would make sense wouldn't it? It just doesn't look great to me - doesn't fill me with confidence if I think of the serious vibrations and bumps that a rigid frame transfers up to the handlebars. This is for my CX bike, by the way, so it's done the Paris Roubaix twice, something like 60km of cobbled sections so it does genuinely get a very good shaking and things that can fall off do tend to.

Here it is - it doesn't fit like the moto version, it kind of folds around the handlebars and the face fits into the lid.

The moto version looks better - it's not a complicated fitting system at all, just different. But the moto version is £150 and the velo version is £100 - quite a difference just for a different mount design.
