Those of an advanced goat track persuasion, might like to cast an opinion on the routes suggested by the magazine?

Marvellous Wapping. I will take a look this week

The first one comprises a road ride (but a fantastic road ride) from Sort through Llavorsi up to Tirvia to start the smugglers trail over into Andorra, but then turns it into a loop. All big bike doable. That's a nice easy days ride, with a coffee at Tirvia. Then there's another loop to the north of that, all through the Pyrenees so lovely and rocky and mountainy with a few water splashes and lots of horses and sheep and stuff running about.

Tightwads can download the smugglers route here and rummage about for the rest, but I think I might spend my €2 for this even though I have most of the trails in this area as mine are now quite old and I seem to remember some very steep greasy rock slabby nastiness the ended at a river crossing David Knight would have baulked at, affectionally known as Greased Weasel Lane. Trouble is I can't remember which track fit is now.

A very rough track trace of the above routes above done by hand so excuse any errors, with some of the main road sections omitted, feel free to improve upon it anyone. The youtube link is common to all tours so only one view required. Ridden in the area but can not confirm those specifically, as in most trail riding scenarios some are easy and there are also more difficult sections but from general experience I should imagine at least some would be OK for a reasonable rider in dry ground conditions on a big bus. thanks for the link.
