Tenerife, Grand Canaria and Lanzarote...

Looking at it, you could fly down and hire a bike. Then do all three, taking ferries between the islands. Though I’d guess you’d need to check whether the hire companies allow their bikes of an island.... or just don’t tell ‘em, bikermate style.

indeed I suspect they won't allow off island use as the companies ive used never allowed it. :thumb

There’s a guy who posts on FB under the name of “The Honoury Austrian” who was posting photos from the Canaries a week or two ago. He hired a bike in Tenerife and took it to La Gomera and La Palma using the ferries.

I went to Tenerife last March and the roads from any direction up to Mt Teide are fantastic, even in a car, although the Fiat 124 Spider my wife hired was good fun to drive. The La Masca peninsular is stunningly beautiful :beerjug:

Rental in Gran Canaria. Used this agency in Playa de Ingles Gran Canaria for a few days last week. Very easy to get to by bus, close to the Yumbo shopping centre (100m). Very straight forward transaction, security deposit back in my credit card account immediately after bike returned. They have a stock of helmets, gloves and vented jackets, I needn't have bothered lugging my own around. Stock of bikes and scooters available currently limited due to a shortage of hire cars with many tourists who can turning to scooters etc.,
