VIN check

Can anyone point me to a vin checker that can deal with an 8 digit vin (02660891)?

All the ones I’ve been able to find can only cope with 17 digit vins

Assume you had an extra 1 on the end as you only need the last seven digits :

Interestingly it lists no Delivering retailer for your bike . If I do the same check on my 1992 R80GS it lists the Delivering retailer as BMW UK Ltd, Farnborough, GB , whereas yours states "No Information"

Wow, thank you very much for pulling up that info. Presumably it’s from a BMW system?

The bike was imported from Germany in 2001 so maybe that’s why there is no uk dealer.

You’re right re the extra 1 being incorrect, I just checked the frame number and engine number on the bike and everything tallies up with the record you found. Many thanks for that.

I'm afraid I cant't help , the system does not hold any information for the VIN

I have asked and it was because they were not on computer systems back then therefore the data is not accessible on line
