Folks. I guess this may have been asked before so sorry if it has.
Given my bikes are coming up for renewal on their insurance(s) and It looks like I can insure them separately for a lot less than the quote given to renew my present "rider policy", what are the advantages of these rider policies ??

PS . . .I will assume at the moment that If I do insure all bikes individually, I will only have NCB on one of them !

Thanks all

Sorry, the above should read "multi bike policy" !!

Doesn't the Rider Policy allow you to ride bikes not owned by you, and be fully insured? In which case, how valuable is that facility to you?

If a Multibike policy, you have two + bikes insured on one policy - ease of admin for you & the insurer the main benefit as far as I can see, apart from cost which you'd hope would be lower on Multibike as less admin for the insurer. But you say in your case would be cheaper to insure separately

NCD transferrable to one bike/policy

Edit - posted before OP's correction seen
