My new (to me) summer toy, 2004 r1200C ... should get it next week :tigger ... garage mate for my r1250GS. Now I just need some saddlebags/panniers if anyone knows where there is an unwanted pair, ... willing too swap for an almost new pair of varios.

Probably fast enough in fourth gear to loose our licence. :)

I'm not interested in cruisers but if I was that would probably be above a HD on the want list.

Interestingly enough, because the 1200C is so much lighter than the R18 (268 vs 359 kg), the fact that it had 30 BHP less still gives it almost identical performance. The ultra-tall gearing of the R18 means the revvier 1200C actually records better top gear acceleration times at low speeds (40-60 mph).
