Will Bmw ever reincarnate the 1200c

I was having a discussion with my cousin about the R18 we are both of the opinion that Bmw should remake the r1200c with an lac engine
But the big question is will they and what would it look like tft etc

You could work out for yourself whether BMW will make it.. Just look up the sales of both versions of the Ducati Diavel and you will see how big the market is for medium-weight power cruisers. The Yamaha VMax is in another weight class altogether as was the departed Triumph Thunderbird.

A modern 1200C would be fantastic machine, but the Yankees would not take it seriously.

The Germans certainly buy a heck of a lot of cruisers (the best-selling Honda is the CMX 500 Rebel), but I'm not sure who else would buy it.

I hope the R18 is a success.

One needs excellent road surfaces for a cruiser as the rear suspension travel is pathetically small. Not ideal for the current state of our roads.

a 1000cc gs would be a good downgrade.

I just don’t think the boxer engine looks right in a cruiser
