Anyone know where I can get the transmission belt for a BMW C600 Scooter. I heard Mitsuboshi belts are not to bad but can only find them in Europe it seems

WOW. I didn’t realise how expensive they are.
As JJH noted, they make belts.
I have just bought a Gates Redline belt as a spare for my Can-Am. These are the best belts money can buy - but they are not cheap.
There are some sub £50 belts out there, but if/when they break, you need recovery.

Agree, I have heard Mitsuboshi is a good replacement, I have seen some cheaper ones come up on Ebay direct from China but as you say if it breaks you are in for recovery and maybe damage also. Nothing wrong with buying from Europe but would like to support UK businesses if I can even if it is a few £ more expensive.
if you are buying the cheap ones.....buy 2 .
Agree, but I don't particularly like staying next to the road waiting for a recovery truck when I can be enjoying pint int he pub at the end of a day's riding. So will go for the less cheap option.
