Any body used upmap ??

Gabro racing (italy) are in partnership with upmap and are developing maps for the Tuono. (Some Tuono maps on the app already, maps for the 2016-2020 Tuono going live over the next few days apparently).

Wondered if anybody had used it ???

:beerjug:

I have a Ducati up appointment chip on my PP , that came with the termi system.
Is that what you mean ?

erm .... I'm not sure :D

Upmap and Termi certainly go hand in hand. The product I'm looking at is a piggyback dongle that connects to your ecu, and you bluetooth a map to it. There are a whole selection of maps available depending on your make model, exhaust set up (slip on / full system / air box) etc etc ....

There seem to be a lot of good reviews .....

Then yes thats what it is , its like a small USB plug.
I think mine might just be preloaded though.
IS your Ape not mapped for the Akra system on the bike though ?
Or are you thinking of engine breaking , fan temperature settings and other such foibles to set up bespoke ?
Elaborate please , I am nosey :D

I had the engine breaking on/off setting altered on my MT10 , made it like a 2 stroke with virtually no engine breaking , it was great fun actually.

I have the same the dongle thing has the map on it and the dealer loads it onto the bike when they fit the termi and you get to keep the dongle thing in a drawer

The full termi system needs a map for the bike to work properly and do away with the flappy valve warnings etc

The thing Giles is looking at i think is a posh version of a power commander type thing with a suitable map already loaded

Its just an end can he has i think which wont need mapping for

Yes, I just have an akrapovich (sp?!) end can.

The bike's three different factory modes give it different throttle response and engine breaking.

Upmap (it seems) started life out specialising in Ducati and providing a 'standard' map for different exhaust configurations. They have gone on to develop maps for Honda and Yamaha.

Gabro racing have recently joined the upmap team as Aprillia specialists. They have a variety of maps unique to the Tuono that they have developed over the last ten years. Reading and doing homework, these are next stage maps over an EU compliant map, and will take things up a notch. Maps are written for specifics like slip on, full system, full system with airbox etc etc ....

As ever, I'm not after more BHP as such (175 will do me!!), but i'll take smoother lower revs and an improved air / fuel mix ... :thumb2

Ah I didn’t realise they did just an end can , I thought the cat was in the standard end can , and the Alfa had a small sports car fitted, my mistake
