Anyone in Central Scotland who can solder....?

Actually, it's £65.00 for a battery, described as an 'accumulator' on the system, from my local, friendly, BMW Motorrad dealership. You'll forgive me for thinking that's outrageous.

Only inasmuch as that one doesn't ship to the UK and costs the $ equivalent of £58 which is what what BMW are, apparently, asking for one.

Ah, I thought the post was about getting the right part. :beerjug:

It is but at the right price. Thanks for the part number, though. That made getting a price from my local, friendly.....a bit easier.

Battery failed on my two year old Nav V, phoned Garmin, gave them the serial number, they said it was still under warranty, sent me one FOC, unplugged the old one, plugged in the new one, worked a treat, no solder, simples.
