Anyone recommend any stand alone ebike insurance policies?
House insurance won’t cover the 2 we have just bought so would need to insure them with a dedicated policy ( unless nicked from the garage ).

I have a 4 grand Bianchi insured home & away with esure, as an add on to my house insurance.
Not battery powered, but still high value.

My ebike is insured on my Saga home/contents insurance with a declared value

I have a £4K downhill bike hanging up in a lock up garage uninsured ( next to my GS ) and my cube Ebike is also uninsured. I did price them up but came back more than a motorbike. Sod that.
I don’t have household insurance because I don’t live in a house. :D

I recently took out the Nat West elite home contents insurance. Covers individual items for £4000 each.

My eBike was £2750 so more than covered.

It also covers them away from home new for old etc etc. £100000 contents only for £15 a month

Great value and worth changing for :thumb2

The limit on unspecified bicycles is £1,000, hopefully you have specified your £2750 ebike
