My 89 900SS is coming home tomorrow so I thought I would bring out an appropriate helmet. Looking forward to a coffee run on Saturday morning. It has been with my local Italian bike specialist for 12 months due to COVID and slow Ducati parts supply .

It has 5700 miles from new and has just had a front to back going over. I have the original mirrors that I will be putting back on.

I’ve always liked them but could never afford one. Instead I bought a jelly mould CBR in 87 , Honda definitely copied many design cues from the 900ss and the Paso . Nice ....:thumb

One of these was responsible for my on/off Ducati addiction for the next 29 years. Bumped into one back when they were new, the owner had stuffed it into the Armco on a long sweeping downhill on way to the Bol. It still looked gorgeous though indicated the frame/footrest mounts were prone to being bent from road/Armco interfacing. Took me about 5years before got paid enough to get my own (later version) 900Superlight.
