Are they worth the money or stick with the standard ones? :nenau

On a GS I prefer Fastway pegs on the low setting.
I do use Pivot pegs on another bike but have extensions on them as they're not big enough for me.

I just fitted them on my 1100. I like the fact that they are lower than standard and sligtly further forward. I had SW Motechs before but the bulky pivot pushed my feet wide which as I'm a bit duck footed meant I had to conciously twist my foot inwards to change gear. The Pivot Pegs allow me to keep my feet more inboard as the platform stops very close to the pivot, if that makes sense. Mine are Mk2s, half price on ebay but 10mm narrower than the Mk3s.

Not had chance to test them over distance, but the platform size is similar to the SWs, so they should be fine.

You may find with them being lower you need to have a gear lever you can move forward, depending on the size of your boots.
 
I have a set of fastway pegs off my 1150.Pm me if interested.
 
If your doing any long trips in involving dirt roads which require you standing on the pegs for a time these are unbeatable.
 
does everything it says on the tin... pivot and pegs... a bike isn't complete without'em...
 
I had them on my 1150 before an alaska trip, 8,500 miles in 4 weeks and they were superb.
 
Got them on my 1150 and my off road special.

Really comfortable for riding lock distance and standing up. After a while, you don't notice them until you ride something without them.

Again on my much travelled 640, always used Pivot pegs but with extensions.
Although on a true trail bike I prefer the feedback from solid pegs.

Got to be better off road than a pair off a Pan European! :D
