What's going on with the carb, don't think I've seen a single carb conversion on a Guzzi?

why is there a rod coming off the rear shock lower mount ?

Looks like it might be a stand-off for the luggage. I wonder where the other end is fixed to though - eek!

To keep the 'pannier' from falling into the wheel?
...maybe it joins up with the rod coming off the top of the shock :eek

i like it, purely coz it would drive the purists nuts. :D

Many of the Citroen specials, using the MG 1000 motor, were converted to a single carb.

The space & the frame rails must limit options with a bike, so probably a Mikuni, although I did hear of a guy who fitted a twin choke Weber.
