As usual, I'm toying with idea of upgrading the handheld GPS, just to wast some money unnecessarily.

Evaluating a few possible routes so far.
One of them would be a GPSmap 65s.

One question though: does it accept waterproof external power?
I can't understand looking online. Seems people using it on bikes power it via the standard USB socket at the back? Is that the only option?

Thanks. The Montana is the other "route" if I want to keep a single sat navs on both bikes.

At the moment I have an XT on the GS and a 60 on the smaller bike. Was considering upgrading the 60 at some points (to have multiple maps without switching SD cards) and I wouldn't mind keeping a button operated unit in that case.
If I decide to use a single satnav on both bikes, yes, Montana should be the way.
