It would be so much nicer without the silly wide back tyre imho.
 
A work of art indeed and well engineered by the looks of it but as said, the fat wheel is at odds with the theme of the bike
and spoils the look.
 
Anyone know about Metis ? Or does it not mean anything ?

Couldn't spell "Metisse" ??:nenau:D ( I know it should have an accent over the 1st 'e' but I've never worked out how to do that)

Compare it to a proper 1920’s bike and you can see how the mix of styles looks weird.

Agreed. Looks great all round , very different indeed
 
Metis is the name given to Anglo French settlers who married native women becoming part of the indigenous population...in North America / Canada...

Perhaps it was built in France using NA parts.....






Metis was also a mythical Greek figure... representing wisdom.....
