I knew I had seen this memorial, having come across it by chance in Luxembourg. I had though completely forgotten where it was until, by chance, it popped up on my iPad just now, plucked at random by the software from pictures saved in Ipictures.

I was there on 26 March 2016 at 13:37, apparently. It remembers more than I do. You can say what you like about Apple products, they are quite clever.

Google does much the same on Android devices. My phone keeps giving me daily reports from Apr 2017, when I went to Avignon and rode through the Ardeche Gorge and ascended Mont Ventoux. It's not cheering me up.

:beerjug:

I, on the other hand, find them quite cheery.

The same automatic software, it’s nothing I have loaded, has taken up creating short films of blocks if pictures. Yesterday, out of the blue, it was Le Mans, June, 2015.

It's all contained within the 'Metadata' of the photo, pretty much every photo you take now contains a whole backlog of information. Great technology and agreed especially when those forgotten memories pop up, those that try to scam insurance companies for 'lost' articles may not like it ;)
