Does anyone know if these are a Satin, Matt or Gloss finish ?

Thinking of getting mine done black and would like to emulate that finish.

I would powder coat but would having them body shop sprayed be a better finish ?

And in case someone is tempted to say buy the originals.... have you seen the price !

Thanks in advance

Check out Reggie353. He bought a cheap second hand set and got them carbon dipped- lovely

Decided to spray my ones yesterday using black acrylic. Quite happy with the way they turned out :thumb

I got mine carbon dipped. Worked out at £50 each. Finish is flawless.

Both those are more glossy than the original black BMW ones.

I got mine powdered with other bits

"Both those are more glossy than the original black BMW ones."

Probably so - I used a Satin Black on mine which came out - well Satin LOL - but when I ceramic coated them afterwards it made them a bit shinier, which over time no doubt will dull down a little. I'm not overly worried though, now they are black they look much better (IMO) than the silver, which is no doubt why you had the OEM black ones fitted. Personally though, I couldn't justify a price tag from BMW of circa £300 for a set of black ones.
