Can't remember if I asked this before here (seems not according to a quick search), anyway, it's bugging me quite a lot. I see there are a few others HP2 Sport owners, so, makes sense to ask:

Do you all have issues with the license plate/rear lights holder coming loose?
I generally take mine off for trackdays.
I put it back on with nylon washers, threadlock, proper torque... but nothing. Ride a few miles and it comes loose again.

The bike doesn't do that many miles on the road, but it's coming to a point where I'm uncomfortable riding it around as I''m scared it will fall off (it already got to the point of hitting the rear wheel once).

I replaced all the screws twice.
Used self locking nuts (on the inside), but it is a massive pain to put them on, and they don't seem to work that much.

I don't remember if I replaced the metal clips already, but that is gonna be my next step.

Any suggestion?
Anyone ran in the same problem and found a proper solution?

My wet dream would be to have quick releases... but...

thanks

I’ve had mine off a few times but never had any issues with it coming loose.
Like you said I’d try new metal clips.

Thanks. I bought a bunch of clips. Hope it's them.
I'd be ok replacing them every 4/5 times the tail comes off (basically once a year).

It was the metal clips. Replaced them and the plate holder is not moving.
Now it is a matter of finding them at decent prices to keep some stock in the garage :D

Denied.
New metal clips lasted a couple of weeks (and one tail removal).

Would it make sense to use the red loctite (instead of blue)?
It does get pretty hot.
